Growing up, I moved slowly.

I got distracted by the sparkly things.

I loved to take it all in.

As a highly sensitive person I feel a strong connection to the people and world around me. Since I was little, I have continually been inspired by nature, my family, friends and the beauty of every day life.

Since the day I was gifted my first camera, I have never put one down.

I love to capture it all!

Throughout childhood, most memories include my Dad carrying the video camera around filming the simple day to day adventures with three little girls. On special occasions my Mom was quick to snap the perfect picture with her film camera, freezing all the little details of that moment in time.

Now as adults we get to look back on those memories with nostalgia. The fleeting moments that often feel like yesterday, are able to be revisited through photos and videos. I’m grateful that my childhood was captured in that way, and now I’m so happy to be able to share that same gift with others!

While being a local teacher for over a decade, specializing in Autism, I’ve always continued to pursue photography and videography on the side. I shared an intimate wedding videography business with my sister for many years called Willow Street Films, while independently, family photography has always remained my forte. My deep love for the children, the families, and the beauty of Santa Barbara has continually meshed with my passion to capture photos and video. If I have learned one thing so far, it’s that life moves fast…so take the DAMN pictures!
